Upon arrival to sg, I experienced grace again. Monsoon was expected to hit but it didn't until I hit my bed. Now well rested physically, spiritually...
His grace is indeed sufficient unto each day, Praise the Lord!
Every promise we can make
Every prayer and step of faith
Every difference we can make
Is only by His grace.
Every mountain we will climb
Every ray of hope we shine
Every blessing left behind
Is only by His grace
Grace alone Which God supplies
Strength unknown He will provide
Christ in us, our cornerstone
We will go forth in grace alone.
Every soul we long to reach
Every heart we hope to teach
Everywhere we share His peace
Is only by His grace.
Every loving word we say
Every tear we wipe away
Every sorrow turned to praise
Is only by His grace.

7 rules
Very blessed by this entry that I must share quickly before I fly back to China next week where internet access is not so friendly...
Seven Rules For Daily Living
By Jonathan Goforth
The following rules for daily living were made by Dr. Goforth in 1894, and wirtten on the fly-leaf of his Bible:
1. Seek to give much--expect nothing.
2. Put the very best construction on the actions of others.
3. Never let a day pass without at least a quarter of an hour spent in the study of the Bible.
4. Never omit daily morning and evening private prayer and devotion.
5. In all things seek to know God's will and when known obey at any cost.
6. Seek to cultivate a quiet prayerful spirit.
7. Seek each day to do or say something to further Christianity among the heathen.
From Goforth of China by Mrs. Rosalind Goforth. Appendix p. 355-356 http://he-still-answers.blogspot.com/2009/09/lord-enable-me-too.html

beautiful country vs beautiful people
After living in Japan for 3 years, I seem to love everything Japanese. I fly there 4-5 times a year after I moved home. And I still fly there twice year after I move to China. My most recent trip was the 1st week of September to Hakodate. The after thoughts of this trip was not very good. I was very tempted to move back there. I love my family but I don't appreciate the weather in Singapore. I love the Chinese but it's not easy to live there. All these lousy thoughts until yesterday I realised my new struggle is discontentment.
1 Timothy 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
Although I'm easily contented, discontentment can arise slowly if I don't keep watch. Please pray for Team ZZ and me. We need your prayers http://www.abigmission.com/pray-for-your-missionaries.html

Happy Birthday Singapore!

Warning - I haven't blog for the last one month so this entry is >400 words haa...
1. Spent 2 weeks in TJ, BJ & CC in July with sisters Baihui, Kelly & her family, Annie, Sophia, Sarah & her sister, Jaihe's parents and Josie. There was some travelling as well as prayer retreat. There was some problems but we count the blessings as they were so good & overflowing. Praise the Lord!
2. Rushed back from CN to SG for wedding of the year - Eugene & Daphne's wedding. Very touched to see this godly couple get married. Praise the Lord!
3. Met Dr. Wu Loo Cheng who found nothing wrong with my wisdom teeth. Praise the Lord for preserving my teeth. But she found gum problems and referred me to a gum specialist. Starting gum treatment on Aug 12, please pray for healing.
4. Have sometime before I fly to ZZ ministry in September so volunteered to be GLCC portal backup administrator. Visit us today!

5. Celebrated National Day & my Birthday. Having lived in 4 countries (including SG) in the last 10 years, I want to Thank & Praise the Lord for blessing Singapore. I took harmony for granted until I studied in AU. I took religion for granted until I worked in JP. I took my family for granted until I work for Him in CN.
6. Praise the Lord for Pastor's National Day sermon. Please pray for Uncle Rob, CM & myself for ZZ ministry. Other than the four gospel books, this message further encouraged my burden for the ministry.
Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. 14 Do everything without complaining or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe 16 as you hold out the word of life—in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing.
7. Spent plenty of time with my family whenever I'm home. I also pray for them regularly. My parents are Sunday Christians. It's troubling to doubt their salvation as they've provided me with the best. But please pray for their salvation as well as health. My sister Lena is going through her painful divorce. It's aching to see her suffer. Please pray for His will to be done. My nephew Xavier has been a blessing to my family. Please pray for him to love & serve Him. Praise the Lord my sister Charlene came back to church after quitting her audit job. Please pray for her relationship with Him & a new job.
8. Urgent prayer requests:
- Karyn & Justin moving to HB. Please pray for Karyn's health.
- Ivy moving to QD.
- Uncle Rob busy schedule in August without CM & myself in CN. Please keep his health & ministry in prayer.
- Hokkaido holiday with my parents in September before moving to ZZ. Please pray for His will.
